Let’s be honest ladies, being a blonde isn’t cheap
No, seriously though – unless you’re blessed with naturally beautiful locks that require no upkeep, being a girl is expensive and time consuming.
Someone once told me, “beauty is pain!” Well, beauty is also expensive, so I love any product that saves me time & money.
I love being blonde. Well, I love being COOL blonde. Check out this picture → you’ll notice that one blonde appears yellow while the other appears not yellow.
The left photo is “warm” yellow brass blonde while the right is “cool” gray blonde.
Every blonde has their own preference. I just prefer being COOL
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to tackle the “not washing my hair for one week” challenge, so almost immediately after a hair appointment, I feel like my cool tones fade. (the more we wash & the more sun we’re exposed to – the “warmer” our hair gets)
Now, not all purple shampoos are the same and ya’ll know that I don’t believe the fallacy – if something costs more, its better; but, in this case – wowza!
Let me introduce you to my ride-or-die, go-to purple shampoo that keeps me seriously cool all 4 months long (yup, I break from the salon for 4-5 months between colors!)
← Meet Fanola. You’re welcome.
Listen, I’ve tried many purple shampoos. With Fanola, I use this shampoo twice per week (less/more depending on the tones of my hair) and let it sit on my scalp for about 2 minutes each time.
Look at this before & after! →
No lie, this is a godsend to blondes who want help eliminating those brassy tones between salon appointments.

PS – How clever was my title?
